AI Front Desk Service Terms
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These AI Front Desk Service Terms ("Terms") apply to the AI Front Desk service ("Service") sold by Deks Technology Solutions, LLC ("dekstech," "we," "us"). By purchasing or using the Service, you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms and to our general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If these Terms conflict with those policies, these Terms control for the Service.
1. The Service
The Service is an AI voice assistant that answers phone calls on behalf of your business, collects caller information, books or requests appointments according to your instructions, and sends you call summaries. We configure the Service based on information you provide. The Service is available to businesses located in the United States only.
2. Subscription, billing and cancellation
The Service is billed monthly in advance at the price shown at checkout (currently $297 per month) and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing support@dekstech.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month, and you keep the Service until then. Except as described in Section 3, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next billing date after that notice.
3. Our guarantee
Setup guarantee: if your AI front desk is not live within 7 days of your kickoff call, we will refund your payment on request. Delays caused by you (for example, not providing required information, call-forwarding access or approvals) pause this 7-day period.
First-month guarantee: if the Service does not book at least one job or appointment request for you in the first 30 days after it goes live, we will refund your first month's payment on request, provided calls were forwarded to the Service during that period. Requests must be made by email within 14 days after the 30-day period ends. Each guarantee applies once per business.
4. Call allowance and fair use
The standard plan includes up to 200 inbound calls per month for your single business location in normal business use. Businesses that need more calls, multiple locations or all-day answering can request custom pricing. If you go over your allowance in a month, we will contact you first and agree any change to your plan with you before you are charged more. The plan does not cover robocall floods, call-center or resale use, outbound calling campaigns, or calls for other businesses.
5. Not an emergency service
The Service is not a substitute for 911, emergency services, or a licensed professional. The AI may give general safety guidance (for example, leaving the home and calling 911 or the gas utility if a caller smells gas) and route urgent calls according to your instructions, but it does not dispatch emergency services. You are responsible for your emergency procedures, for staffing any on-call response, and for responding to urgent call summaries.
6. AI limitations
The Service uses artificial intelligence and may occasionally mishear callers, misunderstand requests, give incomplete information, or fail to complete a booking. You are responsible for reviewing call summaries and confirming appointments, prices and other commitments with your customers. The AI will not quote prices, policies or promises other than those you provide to us in writing. We do not guarantee any number of calls, bookings, jobs or revenue, except the refund guarantees in Section 3.
7. Call recording, disclosures and your responsibilities
Calls may be recorded and transcribed so the Service can operate and send you summaries. Some states require the consent of all parties to a call before it is recorded. The Service tells callers at the start of each call that the call may be recorded, using wording you approve. If a caller asks whether they are speaking with a person or an AI, the Service will say it is an AI assistant. You are responsible for: (a) complying with laws that apply to your business and your communications with your customers, including call-recording, telemarketing and text-messaging laws; (b) obtaining any consents required for us to text or call your customers on your behalf; (c) providing accurate business information, pricing and instructions; and (d) keeping your phone carrier settings and call forwarding in place.
8. Data and privacy
Caller information, recordings and transcripts ("Call Data") belong to you. We process Call Data only to provide, support and improve the Service, using third-party providers (such as telephony, speech and AI model providers) bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell Call Data. We may delete recordings and transcripts after 90 days unless you ask us to keep them longer. The Service is not designed to collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or protected health information, and you agree not to configure it to do so.
9. Third-party services and availability
The Service depends on phone carriers, internet providers and AI and telephony vendors that we do not control. We aim for the Service to be available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for outages, dropped calls or delays caused by third parties or by your phone system.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive or harassing purpose, to impersonate another business, or in violation of any carrier or vendor policy. We may suspend the Service immediately if we reasonably believe it is being used in violation of these Terms or the law.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dekstech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost jobs or lost data, arising from or related to the Service, including missed, misrouted or mishandled calls, or any personal injury or property damage resulting from a caller's situation. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify dekstech against claims by third parties (including your customers and callers) arising from your business services, your instructions to the Service, the information you provide, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
Either party may end the Service by cancelling as described in Section 2. We may terminate the Service with 30 days' notice for any reason (with a prorated refund of any prepaid, unused period), or immediately for non-payment or a violation of these Terms. On termination we will, on request, help you move your call forwarding back to your own line.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wood County or Lucas County, Ohio, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by email for at least 30 days.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and, for material changes, emailing you at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. Questions: support@dekstech.com.
