For personal injury law firms

Every missed call is a case for the firm down the street.

An accident victim calls at 9pm. It goes to voicemail, and they call the next firm on Google and sign with them that night. That case, and every referral from their family and friends after it, now goes to them. Your AI intake line answers every call in one ring, 24/7, qualifies the case, books the consultation and texts you the details.

Hear Ava take an intake call

Call our demo line and play the client: a car crash, a slip and fall, a dog bite. Ask if you have a case. Ask for a real person.

Call it yourself, any time.

Our demo line answers as "Harper & Cole Injury Law," a sample firm. It qualifies the case and books a consultation, just like it would for you.

Car accident

Rear-ended, booked a consultation

Sample conversation

Ava: Harper and Cole Injury Law, this is Ava, and this call may be recorded. How can I help you today?

Caller: I was in a car accident last week and I think I need a lawyer.

Ava: I'm so sorry that happened. Let's get you some help. Were you hurt in the accident?

Caller: Yeah, my back. I went to urgent care the next day.

Ava: I'm glad you got checked out. Did the police come to the scene?

Caller: Yes, there's a report.

Ava: Good. Do you already have a lawyer working on this?

Caller: No.

Ava: Okay. An attorney can speak with you tomorrow, Tuesday. Would morning, between 9 and noon, or afternoon, between 1 and 5, work better?

Wants advice

Caller asks if they have a case

Sample conversation

Caller: Do I even have a case? The store said it was my fault I slipped.

Ava: That's a great question for the attorney. I can't give legal advice, but I can get you a free consultation so they can answer it. When did the fall happen?

Caller: About two weeks ago.

Ava: Thanks. Were you hurt, and have you seen a doctor?

Already has a lawyer

Screens out a represented caller

Sample conversation

Caller: I already have a lawyer but I'm not happy with them.

Ava: I understand. Since you're currently represented, the firm can't advise you on the case, but I can take a message and have someone call you back about your options. What's your name and the best number to reach you?

What are missed calls costing you?

When an injured caller hits voicemail, most don't leave a message. They call the next firm on Google. Move the sliders to match your firm:

A real person behind it

Hi, I'm Luke Tull, founder of dekstech in Perrysburg, Ohio. I've spent my career in IT and building software for small businesses. Right now we're setting up a small group of personal injury firms by hand. My team and I set up your intake line, listen to how it handles your calls in the first weeks, and fix anything that's off.

Questions attorneys ask

How is this different from an answering service?

Most answering services take a message and pass it on. By the time you call back, the client may have signed with another firm. Your AI intake line picks up in one ring, asks your intake questions, books the consultation and texts you the case summary, the same way every time.

Will it give legal advice?

No. It never tells a caller whether they have a case, what it's worth or who is at fault. It says the attorney will answer that and books the consultation. It's set up to make clear it isn't a lawyer.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. Keep your number and forward calls to your intake line: after hours, when your team doesn't pick up within a few rings, or all the time. You can change it anytime.

Will callers know it's AI?

It sounds natural and handles real conversation, but it won't pretend to be a person if asked. Injured callers care about getting help fast. Call the demo and decide for yourself.

What about callers who already have a lawyer, or cases you don't take?

You set the rules. It can screen out represented callers, practice areas you don't handle and calls from outside your state, and take a message instead of booking.

Does it work with my case management software?

Every intake goes to you by text and email on day one. Tell us what you use (Clio, Filevine, Lawmatics, MyCase, Google Calendar) and we'll go over connection options on the kickoff call.

Is there a limit on calls?

The $497 plan includes up to 200 calls a month, with no per-minute fees. That covers after-hours and overflow calls for most small firms. Need every call answered all day, or multiple offices? Book a 15-minute call and we'll put together custom pricing. If a busy month pushes you over, we'll talk to you first. No surprise charges.

Is there a contract?

No. It's month to month and you can cancel anytime.

Stop sending cases to voicemail

Call the demo line and hear it for yourself, then get started.
